The Love Movement Part 6
Episode 28
Continuing on with the Love Movement Series we will be in the book of John today. Part of John 15:12-13 says: This is my commandment: “Love each other in the same way I have loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friend.” God loved us so much that He gave His Son to die for you and for me. The love He has for us is so incredible! Yet how far are we willing to go for our Brothers and Sisters in Christ? Can you imagine if the Denominational walls came down and we loved one another with the love of Jesus Christ, and the World witnessed it?
No greater love…..makes me also think of Servicemen and Woman, Border Patrol, Fire Fighters, Police Officers; even parents at times have given their own lives for others. That kind of Love is priceless. Keep in mind when reading these verses it doesn’t mean you need to give your physical life as Jesus did, (even though He was resurrected) but it does mean go the extra mile to care about each other.
